Medical device

Amnioshell is a medical device for hospitals designed to achieve survival and avoid unwanted consequences of extremely premature babies born between 23 and 28 weeks of gestation. It allows for a protected environment of amniotic fluid and nutrition and oxygenation through the umbilical cord, in addition to adequate monitoring of fetal development by the medical team. Due to its use in operating rooms and sterile rooms, it has required a careful design of its parts.
