The singular seat structure gives more space back to the passenger by eliminating the need for shrouds and/or back shells between the FWD and AFT facing seats. This creates a lighter weight more sustainable solution that is enabled by a lightweight seat mechanism with only one moving part is needed to from TTOL to bed - this mechanism was driven out of real world user testing and observing passengers in flight and the comfort positions they naturally find. The space and weight saving philosophy runs throughout the design of the suite allowing wide body passenger real estate on a mid sized aircraft.
