New permanent collection
Touring the rooms of the new permanent exhibition, visitors are introduced to 900 stunning artifacts from the Collection of Antique Arts and Renaissance at the “Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg”. Memorable spacial compositions, coupled with a vibrant color scheme and dramatic lighting, direct the viewers’ gaze to the exhibition’s central themes. Each room has its own distinctive character, reflecting the uniqueness of the era of Antique and Renaissance decorative arts on display. Historically-inspired architectural settings further feed the visitors’ fascination with and understanding of past epochs and cultures.
