The Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic are designed to rest comfortably inside – and stay inside – a variety of ear types. Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the new Apple EarPod’s is defined by the geometry of the ear, making them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphone. The speakers have been engineered to minimize sound loss and maximize sound output and are designed with three microphones: one on the front, one on the back, and one on the bottom for clearer audio. The built-in remote can be used to adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls.
