In spring 2016, the Bilfinger Group sold its subsidiary, Water Technologies, to the Chinese environmental technology company Chengdu Techcent Environment. As the corporate brand “Bilfinger” had to be dropped, a completely new brand – with name, brand positioning and corporate design – needed to be developed. The new name combines the terms ‘aqua’ and ‘separation’, which refer to the company’s core competence in water and separation technology. The brand identity of Aqseptence is dominated by “progressive green” and its contrast to the achromic black and white. The corporate colors are supplemented by four different shades of grey.
