The ArmMotus EMU is designed to treat neurological- and musculoskeletal-induced arm motor dysfunction. Its aim is to improve rehab efficiency by providing adjustable motor assistance for diverse patient needs in the whole continuum of rehab. ArmMotus EMU uses an innovative cable-driven mechanism with a dual aluminum capstan and carbon fiber parallel linkage to minimize friction and inertia during motion. It can respond faster resulting in higher compliance in motion and can execute any movement trajectories as if in the hands of a therapist.
