Garbage bags are used for cleaness & convenience. When the more garbage bags are used, the more wastes increase. Eventually garbage bags are turned to be the garbage. Like the Armstrong's monumental step on the moon, armstrong bin wants to be the first step for environment of the earth. The armstrong bin reduces the consumption of garbage bags by compressing garbage bags with a foot.

Design for living - selected by Charles O. Job Being able to compress and compact the contents of a paper bin saves space and aids recycling, it also eliminates the need for a garbage bag.
