ARRAY Next Generation ECG

ECG monitoring setup

Array is an ECG monitoring setup that can be implemented within the current practice of intensive care. It helps to streamline the workflow of health care professionals and improves the patient’s comfort during intensive care treatment. Array reduces the current five-cable ECG monitoring setup to an elegant single-line solution that feeds gathered data wirelessly into the current monitoring system. The sensor array can be adjusted to different body shapes and is designed to sit on the human body. Its minimal shape makes it easy to clean, intuitive to handle, and declutters the patient‘s appearance.

JURY STATEMENT

This concept offers a more practical and effective solution in terms of medical design aesthetics than the current solutions. It provides benefits that cannot be ignored for direct and indirect users.

WINNER STATEMENT

We as a team feel very honored to have been awarded the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD for our work. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been involved in the research and development process and have provided us with knowledge and advice.
