The Fusion of Architecture and Art
In a planned area where the view is obscured and natural light is limited due to the retaining wall on the southern neighboring property, we focused on art to enrich the living experience. Instead of traditional decorative art, we designed a mural for the outdoor retaining wall, incorporating it into the interior design. Additionally, we expressed art through techniques such as light projection and the use of traditional Japanese finishing materials. We revitalized areas with many old retaining walls through art and proposed it as a new culture, while expanding the interior space to the outdoors.
