Sensor System for artwork

ArtGuardian

Advanced technologies may support us protecting the cultural heritage. Therefore it is necessary to develop it into interdisciplinary tools which can be operated also by persons of less affinity for the new virtual world. ArtGuardian is the new virtual guard for important artworks. The system combines easily manageable real world sensors with software intuitively to use in the virtual world. Microclimate conditions at the artwork are continuously measured, compared to limits and consistently documented. Conservator-restorer can accompany their artwork virtually regardless of where in the world the artwork is located.
