Artificial Structure Exterior Painting Innovation

Traditional methods of painting high-rise exteriors require workers to be suspended, posing risks, entailing high costs, and extending construction times. To solve this problem, the designers propose a drone-based painting process. Drones scan walls with sensors and apply paint safely at any height. Wired and wireless operation enables gradients and graphic designs, overcoming conventional limits. This innovation improves worker safety and expands drone technology beyond industrial sites into artistic applications.

JURY STATEMENT

This innovative design solution not only ensures workers' safety but also opens up a whole new range of potential industrial and artistic applications.

WINNER STATEMENT

When I heard the news that I'd won an iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD, I felt a great sense of pride and accomplishment. This recognizes my efforts to address industrial accidents through design, motivating me to continue pursuing innovative solutions and further exploring the social impact of creative technologies.
