Sustainable Design & Cultural Preservation

ARTILE reinterprets Basque pastoral tradition through design, transforming an endangered tradition into an immersive experience. Participants create a felted Latxa wool mat, embark on the GR-34 transhumance route, and embroider their journey using natural elements. This project rescues discarded wool, promotes cultural heritage, and fosters a deep connection with nature. ARTILE merges craft, sustainability, and personal storytelling, making each piece into a unique manifesto of the landscape.
