As City’s Hippocampus
Exhibition Special Edition
National Housing and Urban Regeneration Center
Inspired by the Hippocampus Project, this book takes its name from a brain structure and focuses on preserving memories before renewal. It creatively organizes pages of various sizes to capture life in Taiwan's typical walk-up apartments. By using transparent and foldable pages, it delves into these memories, from daily life to deepest emotions. Both the content and design embody the essence of social design, with a core theme of 'opening,' inviting readers to immerse themselves in these recollections. It's more than just a book; it's a 'time-travel' opportunity, providing a fresh perspective on understanding urban regeneration.
