Uri was redesigned to be more human-centred, hiding the embarrassment of the patient that has been up till now ignored for the sake of efficiency. The design I am proposing only keeps the necessary amount of space transparent to check its content whilst keeping the rest white so the colours and levels are more easily seen. It eliminates the use of the clip with a simple turning mechanism in the bottom half to dispose of its content. The nurses do not have to touch the actual tube that the urine comes out of, so it is more sanitary and convenient. The corn oil based Poly Lactic Acid is eco friendly during manufacture and disposal.
