Inspired by high-end AV devices, the Aspire 8943Gs elegant design features a solid construction with aluminum-magnesium cover and keyboard surfaces, and an edge-to-edge 18.4" display behind Corning Gorilla Glass. The workspace is highlighted by simple geometry with clean contrasts of platinum and slate-gray colors, and glossy and matte finishes. Deliberate component placement minimizes thickness, while retaining thermal comfort and performance. The innovative dual-mode touchpad also acts as a blue-backlit touch-sensitive media console to launch and control media apps; a scrolling volume wheel below the touchpad adds to the AV user experience.
