Iron teapot
The BODUM Assam Iron Teapot combines the old Japanese tradition of enjoying tea and BODUMs well-proven tea press, made of stainless steel, silicone and PP. To create the distinctive Assam bowl shape of the tea pot, two iron cast parts are fused together. The inside is lined with enamel to prevent the iron from deteriorating. The Assam shape reminds one of the traditional English tea pots, whereas the cast iron material and its texture create the relaxing feeling of participating in a Asian tea ceremony. Cast iron was used not only to convey the Japanese style, but because of its brilliant capacity to preserve heat.
