Auxobrace - The Future of Compressive Rehab

Post Surgery Rehabilitation Device

Auxobrace is a rehabilitation device designed for people recovering from open-heart surgery. It applies the principles of soft robotics to apply targeted, compressive forces to stabilize the sternum during the critical six-month recovery period. Using a mini vacuum pump, internal structures within the brace adjust to achieve the required pressure. Auxobrace is designed for extended wear and aims to reduce the stigma of medical devices through unobtrusive aesthetics. Beyond sternal rehabilitation, this technology can be used for various forms of localized compressive rehab, making it a versatile healthcare innovation.
