The AW 281 wall hood from Gaggenau Innovative technology demands an innovative design. The aerodynamic Coanda effectively extracts cooking fumes. Part of the air stream generated by the fan exits through the top of the hood and is deflected down by the curved front to catch the smoke and steam that would otherwise escape in front of the hood. This improves efficiency and lets the fan run at lower speeds. May be operated as an extraction or recirculation system. Three power levels: Intensive mode, interval ventilation, and coast down function. Available in stainless steel or aluminum (shown here); 90 cm or 120 cm wide.
