Marriage ring

The concept behind this pair of rings is the joining together of hearts. The inter-locking rings are a visual image of a “heart to heart” wish bonding together two imperfect human beings. Each ring is notched, representing missing elements of each person, fitting together in a symbol of love and completeness. This ingenuity and artistic inspiration is based in traditional Japanese architecture and joinery employed throughout history, wherein joints were designed to eliminate all unnecessary materials such as screws, nails or glue.
