Bath mixer for exposed fitting

Hansgrohe AG

Like the other fittings in the Starck bathroom, the surface-mounted single-lever bath mixer Axor Starck is an example of the poetry of reduction. Slimline, clear in function and easy to use, the faucet is the ultimate in uncompromising minimalism. Concentrating on the essentials is Philippe Starck’s life philosophy which features again and again in the form and function of his designs. The cylindrical handle on the faucet and the slim spout, together with the appealing bar shower, form a geometric design unit. This pared-down design conceals the latest mixer technology. It is in fact the innovative, tiny ceramic cartridge M2 – much smaller in diameter than before – that makes the slim shape of this bath mixer possible.
