Ayama

Meditation Device

The concept of Ayama is a device that helps us get into meditation. It guides our rhythmic breathing by its expansion and contraction in our hands. The four modes are designed with the theoretical support of pranayama (yoga breathing techniques). This design could help us escape from the chaotic pace of life.

WINNER STATEMENT

Thanks iF Design Talent Award for giving Ayama a chance to reach a global audience. As designers who aim to use multiple design strategies to fix emotional/mental health issues in modern society, it was a great compliment for us to be recognized by such a prestigious award. We firmly believe the emotional/mental health awareness would rise in public with the brilliance of all participated designers.
