This project was to revitalize a street through "private maintenance" of a "public space" with donations from the local business community. The project required a spatial design that went beyond the limits of public maintenance. The project was not bound by national standards, but obtained the consensus of citizens, and ensured water friendliness by ensuring safety in accordance with the scale of the river. Instead of safety fences, the stay equipment of benches and tables were designed to function as safety devices. The rational process is realized through private maintenance of public space, which is a characteristic of this project.
