Factory
SHUTER Enterprise Co. Ltd.The Babbuza Dreamfactory in Nantou is a groundbreaking collaborative architecture project that embodies the efforts of Taiwanese industrial storage products manufacturer Shuter Enterprise to solve the ecological and societal imbalances in local manufacturing. At the heart of the architectural design is a 30.8-meter-tall wooden structure called the Tree of Life, and the walls are made of translucent, breathable polycarbonate. Other sustainable elements include a 4,030-square meter solar photovoltaic energy system and a 228,650-liter rainwater harvesting system. It is also Taiwan’s first and only tourism factory featuring a world-leading Austronesian culture museum.
