Baby panda's home

Space design

The series of Home of Baby Panda is a portable panda-themed origami space. Following this theme, baby pandas could play there. The origami space is designed into two ways, open and semi-open. When not in use, it could be folded into a flat piece and put against the wall so that it takes up little room and space is used efficiently as well. The semi-open origami space is more suitable for houses with a smaller living area, in which a baby panda's home could be built up. The open type could be unfolded completely and put on the floor, which is more suitable for big houses or public places that parents, grandparents, and children could all enjoy.

JURY STATEMENT

Although some of the graphics and production specifications could be improved, it's a nice concept to be put in use in places that host children on a temporary basis, such as relief hospitals, refugee camps, orphanages, etc.

WINNER STATEMENT

We are so surprised to hear the good news. It’s a great honor to win the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2018, which recognizes our design ability and encourages us to achieve better works in the future.
