Exhibition design

JOOSUNG DESIGN LAB

The exhibition space is divided into three layers: The horizontal axis, which shows a chronological timeline, allows for one to travel in time through the artist’s 21 notebooks where his life is chronicled. The central space of the hall is a platform where the audience, as time travelers, can reflect on the 20 years of the artist’s life across the passage of time. The space surrounding the center displays the archive chronologically classified on the horizontal axis, and on the vertical axis, it connects to the final space where the artist’s works are displayed.
