Media façade

The media façade’s concept of the newly erected water deposit in Barcelona translates the architecture’s aesthetic, the function of the building and its sustainable energy concept into a media experience using a graphically abstract, visual language. The building of the Spanish water supply company ATLL represents itself as a media landmark and a symbol for sustainable solutions. The light choreography explores the sustainable management of water reserves by evoking the natural water cycle of rain and evaporation. The power consumption of the louver’s LEDs integrated into a patchwork of metal and photovoltaic elements is entirely supplied by solar energy.
