18-carat gold ring

Antonio Bernardo

The fundamental part of this piece of jewelry emphasizes its circular “ring” structure. The movement of this article focuses on this aspect, which also makes it comfortable to put on and wear. It is composed of a series of moving thin plates that form the platform on the upper part. However, it only transforms into a ring when being put on, since when it is not being worn and is resting on a surface it becomes unrecognizable. The interaction with the user is therefore fundamental for it to take shape, reinforcing the idea that the jewel establishes an intimate relationship with the person that wears it.
