BANDI - Smart Helmet

Smart helmet for search and rescue

The BANDI helmet is a smart helmet for a rescue team performing safe and rapid rescue activities in harsh environments. Through in-depth interviews with rescuers, the elements of the helmet required in the rescue environment were determined to be built-in GPS, built-in speakers and microphones to communicate with team members, built-in LED lighting, a ventilation structure, thermal imaging equipment for search, and WiFi LTE communication technology. Unlike conventional helmets, the outer shell of the helmet can be separated from the inner layer for easy cleaning.
