Bangkok, locally known as "KrungThep" – the "City of Angels." And besides being the home of angels, Bangkok is also known as one of the world’s great paradises for street food. With this in mind, the concept when designing "Bangkok Recipe," Sydney’s newest Thai restaurant, was to import these core facets of Bangkokian culture and create a unique, authentic offering for Sydneysiders, both in the food and the atmosphere. The same mouth-watering dishes that might easily be found on a street of Bangkok have been turned into gourmet dishes made from ingredients carefully selected through the angels’ eyes and prepared by the angels’ hands.
