Barrier-free Cinema (Concept) Application
China has the world's largest visually impaired population of over 17.3 millions, for whom enjoying films is almost a mission impossible. The dialogue in regular films are far from enough for them to comprehend the content. To make the problem worse, there are few films with audio descriptions in China.We hope to launch an online theater dedicated to serving films with audio descriptions. This idea, at its core, is to build a platform that connects film producers, dubbing hobbyists, and visually impaired audiences so as to provide convenience to all involved and encourage more people to get involved in making audio descriptions for films.
