BDLI e.V. auf der ILA 2010 - Space for Earth
Pavilion
BDLI e. V.
The Space for Earth pavilion is black and white in contrast to the colorful display of the ILA. Gleaming white paths contrast with unlit black areas. The dominating figure is the triangle with rounded corners. The exhibition begins in an aisle close to Earth with an Ariane 5 take off and ends far away from Earth with the exploration of far-off galaxies. Earth observation is the subject of the largest display made of grass and plants. Visitors are able to find out more about satellite-based Earth observation using the interactive floor projection. Other topics include European Mars Research and the exploration of the solar system.
