Policy development

‘Beautiful Factory project’ is a policy-development project that aims to prevent and revitalize an outdated industrial complex in Incheon. To do this, many workers, bureaucrats, designers, and students took part in a 160-day-long research study. With the ideas gained from this research, a policy prototype was developed. It is largely divided into two parts: ‘Didim-gil’ and ‘Beautiful Factory Award.’ The first aims to improve the quality of public streets around the industrial complex by increasing public awareness and involvement. The second aims to improve the working environment of privately owned plants.
