Beauty from Within

Window display

We designed a Christmas tree and wreath as a window display for the Shiseido Ginza Building. The motif chosen for the display is a traditional Japanese craft - the "Wagasa" umbrella. Wagasa is a beautiful product that has been familiar to the Japanese people since ancient times, but in recent years, the number of craftsmen has decreased due to the distribution of Western-style umbrellas. By turning the design philosophy Shiseido has cultivated not into cosmetics but traditional Japanese crafts, we hoped to find new beauty and pass it on to the next generation.
