25 People, 25 Fates, 1 Commonality: The temporary exhibition „Becoming Who You Are“ at the Documentation Centre for Displacement, Expulsion, Reconciliation tells the story of refugees who have received higher education. This makes them part of the vanishingly small 7 percent of refugees worldwide who get this opportunity. The exhibition design plays with ambivalences: bright and friendly, but also provisional and fragile; obstacles and privileges; fates and opportunities; cheerfulness and sorrow; us and them.
