This store was designed for a long-established brand that deals in silk with traditional Chinese patterns. The most difficult design decision was what to choose as the main material for this store. The idea of ‘tucking up’ the silk came from the staff. At first, it was difficult for the clients to accept the ‘mesh screen’ material, but they were soon convinced after experiencing the elegance, softness and lightness of the material up close. The colorless mesh screens serve as an elegant backdrop for the sumptuously colored silks.
