Emergency Medical Support

Blood shortages lead to many preventable deaths worldwide, especially in war zones and regions with poor healthcare infrastructure. Conventional transport can be delayed due to traffic and long distances, worsening the crisis. The Cyclocopter solves this by providing fast, aerial blood transport, bypassing road limitations. It features temperature control for safe storage and an automated system for blood type identification, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

JURY STATEMENT

The Bermes Cyclopter is a small drone that can deliver blood quickly to hard-to-reach areas, for instance during earthquakes or when roads are impassable. This highly scalable design is more than an ingenious logistics solution; it highlights global healthcare inequalities, emphasizing the need for better blood donation systems. Great work!

WINNER STATEMENT

I feel truly honored to receive the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. Thank you so much to my family, friends, and everyone who has supported and believed in me. This means the world to me and will always be one of the proudest moments of my life.
