Bernard Buffet's second retrospective in Korea, Bernard Buffet - The Light of Genius: The Shadow of the Clown, features over 100 works, including large 4-meter oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, and prints. The exhibition is divided by themes, exploring his early depictions of everyday objects and people, the existential figure of the clown, cityscapes, literature, mythology, religion, and personal subjects like his wife and muse, Annabel. The narrative space design invites visitors to experience Buffet’s artistic journey from his beginnings to his final reflections on death, offering immersive interaction with his life and work.
