Solar lantern

Panasonic Corporation

The solar lantern generates the energy from the sun and stores the energy into the Ni-MH batteries, and then provides the LED light to the people in unelectrified areas. The lantern is intended to be used in the various scenes like a family dinner and the children's studying at night, so they can change the handle's angle freely to be held, stood and hung, to match their purpose. The generated solar energy is also usable to charge mobile phones via USB cable. This solar lantern has Panasonic realize the “clean energy loop” solution consisting of generating, storing and utilizing the solar energy.
