The natural gesture of a clip was used to highlight the product’s function. The main surface symbolizing the essence of BH-214 is built in a seamless and interrupted way, giving a simple but sophisticated look. It visually holds the technology within and wraps into the clip underneath. The interface is revealed by slicing the outer layer, exposing the core. By lining up both the DC and 3.5 mm connectors and using the natural flexible properties of plastic, Nokia Design created the illusion of a hinge totally integrated within the overall shape. This unique implementation offers a solid wearing experience during outdoor activities.
