Bicycle Alarm Bell

The Bicycle Whistle is specifically designed for cyclists. It has the function of an alarm. When pressing the airbag, air is pushed out creating a whistling sound. The whistle can also be blown by mouth when necessary.

JURY STATEMENT

Professional cycle couriers often have a whistle permanently in their mouth to alert other road users. To deliver this immediate whistle alert function in this new way (whilst enabling the existing method to still be used) may likely have immediate - and perhaps broader appeal to city bike riders. Hard model testing and clear design communication further adds value to this project.

WINNER STATEMENT

We strive to improve cycling safety by this project. It is a very big honor to be one of the 100 award winners.
