Museum and learning space

The Chianan Irrigation Waterways was the largest hydraulic construction project in Asia during the Japanese era of Taiwan. A century since its construction, the Waterways still irrigate more than 150,000 acres of farmland. Curated and designed by Brightext, BIG CHANNEL is a museum, theater and learning space for Taiwanese and Japanese school children to learn about the Chianan Irrigation Waterways. The space focuses on introducing visitors to the agriculture, science, engineering, and artistic significance of the project through interactive learning methods and workshops.
