Bihar Museum Identity

Brand identity

Bihar Museum, a world-class cultural hub in Patna, India, needed a simple, universal symbol that captures the essence of Bihar State. This identity rekindles the glory of Bihar and brings pride to its people. The re-designed museum website and documentation bridge past and future, celebrate the complex culture of India, and unite the vernacular with the global. The Triad of Trees symbolizes great dynasties, knowledge, and way of life as the Bodhi Tree of Wisdom. This connects to the logotype, a bilingual bridge, in both Hindi and English. India’s great strength has always been its ability to absorb multiple influences, and that is expressed in this design.
