Sheet analyses/6 theme notebooks

For this project I examined the twelve largest German newspapers in regard to layout and design and the visual language resulting from that. Using design criteria such as format, matter, grid system, typography, etc., I analysed the way individual newspapers are structured and how they communicate fresh information daily. The resulting information is visualized in a reduced, subtle design. The intention was to explain a complex interrelationship without words. The graphics created illustrate the results in an aesthetic, universal language.
