BLIND FIRST AID KIT

First aid kit for the visually impaired

This Braille first aid kit is designed to provide immediate treatment for minor injuries in a manner that is fully accessible to individuals who are visually impaired. The outer casing, made of molded pulp fiber, is soft to the touch and provides Braille labels for guidance. On opening, the medication labeling, information, and step-by-step instructions are provided in Braille. The unique design of the medical vial ensures a firm grip, reducing spills and the risk of contamination or secondary infections. This design not only increases access to potentially life-saving treatment but also boosts the users' self-confidence and autonomy.

JURY STATEMENT

The Blind First Aid Kit helps visually impaired and blind people take medications and apply first aid treatments more easily, thanks to Braille packaging and instructions. This is a wonderfully sensitive and creative way to boost safety, confidence, and autonomy in the home or workplace. Well done!

WINNER STATEMENT

This award means a lot to me, and I’m truly delighted to have received it.
