Blind Guider
Guide Brick & Cane
An innovative brick design to guide the blind and provide information on street names and direction by using RFID technology. The blind can trigger the guide brick with the tip of a guide cane, and the brick will transmit information to an earphone. Thus, users not only know exactly where they are, but also where to go next.
A simple, creative and intelligent extension to today's blind infrastructure guidance system. Technically possible, well presented and an outstanding project in the telecommunication category.
WINNER STATEMENTWe come from Taiwan, we're studying at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and major in industrial design.
