Blind memo
Lable Printer
Blind Memo helps the visually impaired to take notes by themselves. Even if they are able to read Braille, this can be a difficult task for them. This device combines a speech recognition system with a micro embossing machine. The visually impaired can print out a little card as an identification tag and attach it to the object they want to label, such as clothes, socks, books or a table, or leave messages in normal text for their family or friends who don’t read Braille.
I am extremely delighted to become one of the 100 award winners in the 2013 iF concept award competition, the highest honor in the field. The award is extraordinarily significant for me since it is the first prize I have ever won in my design career. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends, families, advisers and to share with them the pleasure and honor of receiving this award.
