The System developed by MIRDC is the world's first to reduce the chance of blood clots after surgery. It replaces the existing discontinuous and wired detection equipment, including degradable continuous sensors and wireless radio frequency identification equipment. It allows the patient's blood clot status to be known immediately and at any time without the need for medical staff. In addition to accurately detecting blood flow, the bioabsorbable implantable degradable antenna sensor can biodegrade within 24 weeks, reducing the risk of wound infection caused by repeated incisions and reducing the damage to blood vessels.
