Blumen für Otello

Book

Intended as a means to overcome a lack of words, Blumen für Otello is a literary attempt to bring back the crimes committed by the NSU into public awareness … and thus to support the grieving process that has yet to begin. Quiet yet forceful, it creates new bridges – including for German-Turkish relations, which are not without their difficulties. With a focus on the theme, presentation takes a back seat, leaving the stage to the poetic energy inherent in bilingual texts. The various literary narrative forms, ranging from dirges and librettos to an attached documentary are emphasized via the subtle change in paper.
