If you want to talk about topics of the future, why not do that in an extraordinary environment? For the opening of the BMW Group keynote at IAA 2021, the company used the latest technology, the Unreal Engine, to transform key opinion leader Gemma Styles into a digital MetaHuman. She appeared in BMWs own metaverse, Joytopia. This scenario provided an impressive, unforgettable setting for talking about the freedom of ideas and thinking outside of the box. Gemma was joined by BMW Group CEO Oliver Zipse, who the designers scanned in 3D and brought him in as a hologram into the Metaverse.
