Body Blocks is a modular stacking toy of interchangeable wooden heads, torsos, and bottoms that invites children to explore identity through play. Each block introduces themes of body diversity, imagination, and ancient symbolism, forming an open-ended study of the many ways a body can be. While most toys entertain, educate, or develop skills; Body Blocks start from a simple question: How can play help children explore their relationship with themselves, their bodies, and the world around them? By deconstructing social ideas around body image it offers an open-ended system where children can reconstruct the human form in their own way.
